Wanna Smell Like Adam Levine or the Pope?
Ugh, the Pope is such a desperate follower. Clearly inspired by Adam Levine’s announcement that he was changing his anti-celebrity fragrance stance and coming out with his own signature scent, Pope Benedict XVI has also commissioned a custom-made cologne.
Italian celebrity scentstress Silvana Casoli can’t say much about the Papal fragrance that she created, except for the fact that it’s inspired by his love of nature and features notes of lime-wood, verbena, and grass. She also swears that she’ll never reproduce the fragrance for the public.
Thankfully, Levine’s fragrance, 222, will be available for mass consumption. No official word yet on which notes it will contain, but we’re betting it smells like tattoo ink, overexposure, and Russian model sweat.
Who'd you rather sniff — an 85-year-old German or a guy who gets paid to sit next to Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green?
