Scissor Sisters are on a break — don’t worry, it’s not you; it’s them — so guitarist Del Marquis had no choice but to cover Jermaine Jackson’s 1982 tune “Let Me Tickle Your Fancy” with pal Xavier. The video pays hilarious tribute to cheesy ’80s video effects, but it stars a go-go boy with contemporary skilllllz, honey. Watch it after the jump — and get a free download here.

OK, Glee’s unlikely pairing of SJP and Shangela may or may not have turned us back on to the Scissor Sisters anthem “Lets Have a Kiki” for a hot minute — which may or may not have led to our late discovery of a certain video edit featuring kiki-ing Disney villains. It’s the best “Kiki” since the Videodrome Discothèque edit. That whole Glee thing certainly was not.
Maybe you heard that Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears had to apologize via Twitter after his use of the word “tranny,” which, in case you didn’t get the memo, queens are no longer allowed to use. But how can you stay mad at a man who, despite his body issues, tweets photos of himself in his “Let’s Have a Kiki” panty bottoms — you know, just to remind fans that they’re on sale at merch stands.
We love Scissor Sisters and we really love seeing out frontman Jake Shears half-naked in every other photo shoot, but as he reveals in a new interview, it turns out he’s not nearly as confident as any idiot would assume.
