We first told you about Drag Dad, a documentary abou RuPaul’s Drag Race season 2 winner Tyra Sanchez, back in July when it needed funding. Now watch an exclusive first look at the upcoming doc on Advocate.com as part of an interview with “the other Tyra” — aka James Ross — and filmmaker Björn Flóki. We know it’s just an extended trailer, but the film actually looks really good!
The documentary Drag Dad will hopefully spill all the T on the relationship between RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Tyra Sanchez and his young son, but you’ve only got until Friday to help filmmakers raise money for the project through Kickstarter. Potential donation perks? A filmed performance by Tyra at your event, where Tyra will then “dragatize” you — whatever that means.
