Quaker Larry Had Some Work Done
The guy on the Quaker Oatmeal box — known in certain oatmeal-eating circles as “Larry” — just got a youthful makeover as part of parent company PepsiCo Inc.’s efforts to reinvigorate the 134-year-old brand.
Aside from exposing those manly barn-raising Quaker shoulders, this meant getting a hair trim, losing the double chin, and shaving off a few extra pounds in the face.
But he’s still older, still gray, still conservatively dressed, and still a few pounds overweight… so where does Larry fall on the gay cliques census now?
