Poor Samantha Bricks Is Trending

What happens when an average looking English woman writes about how hard it is to be beautiful? Everyone makes fun of her.
Samantha Bricks has drawn the ire of the online community this morning, not just on news websites (and fun quizzes comparing her to Zoolander), but all over Twitter. And the memes aren't as playful as someone quitting their job with the help of the NYT; they're getting mean.
Is she asking for it?
Throughout my adult life, I’ve regularly had bottles of bubbly or wine sent to my restaurant table by men I don’t know. Once, a well-dressed chap bought my train ticket when I was standing behind him in the queue, while there was another occasion when a charming gentleman paid my fare as I stepped out of a cab in Paris.
Oh, c'mon Internet... we've had good days, maybe not worth bragging about, but is she really that bad?
Insecure female bosses have also barred me from promotions at work.
And most poignantly of all, not one girlfriend has ever asked me to be her bridesmaid.
...OK, she's screwed.

#samanthabrickfacts Samantha Brick has small mirrors inside her eyelids, so she can see into her soul. Which is also beautiful.
