How Ah-Mah-Zing Is Casey Wilson?
Happy Endings returns tonight, Oct. 23, for a third season on ABC. Still not watching? Just try not to fall for the kooky charms of breakout star Casey Wilson, whose character Penny Hartz’s relationship with gay BFF Max is the heart and funny bone of the show.
Wilson talks about her real-life gay bestie, NYU classmate Matt, in the new issue of The Advocate: “Matt and I really get into our margaritas. We always say, ‘We need to take a beat,’ and then we go have a ball at Marix in West Hollywood, which is basically a gay taqueria we’ve gone to for eight years. I lived with Matt when I first moved to L.A., and we used to lie in bed together, split an Ambien, and pass out side by side while reading sad self-help books like The Power of Now. I thought that was a poignant image of us trying to better ourselves.”
Like looking in a mirror, eh?
Penny Hartz is purty ah-mah-zing too. Watch her do her thing:
