DLNQNT Do or Die: Sept. 17 - Sept. 23

The top 10 things we’re living for this week. Get into it.

10. BLU-RAY/DVD: The Cabin in the Woods. Chris Hemsworth, Thor himself, brings the brawn to the brain-scrambling Cabin in the Woods, Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard’s genre-defying horror film about friends vacationing in — spoiler alert — the woods. It. Is. Awesome. Add it to your collection when it comes out Sept. 18 on Blu-ray and DVD.

9. MUSIC: The Spirit Indestructible, Nelly Furtado. Sample some of the new jams here and check out Furtado’s new album when it drops Sept. 18 with singles “Big Hoops” and “Spirit Indestructible.”

8. TV: Be Good Johnny Weir. The flamboyant figure skater continues to give fans a glimpse into his fabulous life when season 2 of Be Good Johnny Weir premieres Sept. 17 on Logo.

7. MOVIE: End of Watch. Jake Gyllenhaal, looking all Jarhead, stars in End of Watch, an LAPD cop flick in theatres Sept. 21.

6. MUSIC: Battle Born, The Killers. Available Sept. 18, the latest album from the Las Vegas rockers features killer lead single “Runaways.”

5. MUSIC: Kiss, Carly Rae Jepsen. Maybe you’ve heard of the Canadian’s much-covered and much-parodied song-of-summer “Call Me Maybe.” Now she’s got a whole album of ear-candy — including her admirable attempt to avoid being a one-hit wonder, “Good Time.”

4. BLU-RAY/DVD: Katy Perry: Part of Me. Out Sept. 18 on Blu-ray and DVDKaty Perry: Part of Me — Katy Perry’s answer to Madonna’s Truth or Dare — gives you everything you ever wanted to know about the pop tart, including her divorce from Russell Brand.

3. TV: The Office. It’s the final countdown! The eighth and last season of The Office kicks off Sept 20 on NBC. So who the hell’s been filming them all this time, anyway?

2. TV: SNL Weekend Update Thursday. Saturday Night Live’s 38th season premiere may’ve underwhelmed, but its primetime election specials, which begin Sept. 20 on NBC, are still required viewing.

1. MUSIC: The Truth About Love, Pink. Did you enter our contest to win a copy of Pink’s latest? Check out the lyric videos and download the album when it preaches the cold hard truth on Sept. 18.
