DLNQNT Do or Die: June 4 - June 10

The top 10 things we're living for this week. Get into it.

10. DVD: Private Romeo. Handsome Broadway alums Seth Numrich and Matt Doyle are the star-crossed cadet lovers in Private Romeo, Alan Brown's inventive, beautifully acted all-male adaptation of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet set in a military high school, which is available June 5 on DVD.

9. MUSIC: Travelling, Roxette. Your favorite Swedish duo from the ’80s and ’90s, Roxette returns June 5 with their ninth studio album, Travelling, a power-pop journey featuring a mix of reworked classics, live tracks, and new jams like hard-driving lead single "It's Possible."

8. MUSIC: Our Version of Events, Emeli Sandé. Finally out June 5 in the U.S., Our Version of Events is the debut album from our aural addiction Emeli Sandé, a Scottish R&B-soul diva whose must-download tracks include "Next to Me," "Heaven," and "Daddy."

7. MOVIE: Prometheus. Ridley Scott fans won't likely be disappoined with Prometheus, a sci-fi alien flick starring Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, and the original Lisbeth Salander, Noomi Rapace. In space, no one can hear you scream — again — beginning June 8.

6. BLU-RAY/DVD: Hit So Hard: The Life & Near Death Story of Patty Schemel. Available June 5, P. David Ebersole's documentary about hard-living lesbian Hole drummer Patty Schemel includes interviews with her bandmates and other contemporary rockers like Nina Gordon, Gina Schock, Debbi Peterson, and more. Bonus features include cool commentary and Schemel's revealing home movies.

5. VENUE: 54 Below. If those walls could talk! An exciting new nightclub-cabaret space beneath Studio 54, 54 Below opens this month with a two-week stint by Patti Lupone, plus shows by Jackie Hoffman, Mx. Justin Vivian Bond, and many more. Attempting to steal the spotlight from Tonys host Neil Patrick Harris, our fave YouTube sensation Randy Rainbow hosts 54 Below's sold-out Tonys viewing party on June 10.

4. Silver Wells, Justin Vivian Bond. Speaking of Mx. JVB, who's currently starring in last week's Do or Die list-topper Jukebox Jackie, the singer-songwriter's latest album is out June 5 with haunting covers of Ronee Blakely, Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, Kate Bush, and more.

3. BOOK: I Hate Everyone... Starting with Me, Joan Rivers. We've enjoyed reading the incendiary excerpts courtesy of Michael Musto — Tom CruiseOprah Winfrey, and the late Whitney Houston are among the comic's targets of hatred — but it's time to devour the entire book, which is available June 5. Just not from Costco.

2. TV: Dance Moms. Dance instructor Abby Lee Miller will chew you the f*ck out if you don't watch the June 5 premiere of Dance Moms' third season on Lifetime.

1. TV: True Blood. June 10 bite-marks the fifth season premiere of HBO's True Blood, the smartest, sexiest vampire series ever, which welcomes hot Oz daddy Christopher Meloni to the cast as big vampire deal Roman.
